Toronto Wallpaper Installation is an owner-operated installation company founded in 1998. We specialize in luxury and delicate wallpaper, grasscloth, silk, hand-printed paper, and large-scale custom murals, across Toronto and the Greater Toronto Area.

Our work is built on a single technical commitment: invisible seams. The seams are where bad wallpaper installations show, and ours don't. The skill that delivers that finish is what 25+ years of dedicated wallpaper installation produces, not generic painting experience, not occasional wallpaper jobs, but a focused practice on this one craft.

Who We Work With

Most of our work comes through interior designers and architects whose clients have selected luxury or delicate paper that demands a specialist installer. We run the trade workflow your designer client expects: sample logs, panel numbering, color-batch verification, and one accountable installer per project.

We also work directly with luxury homeowners across Yorkville, Forest Hill, Rosedale, Oakville, Mississauga, and Markham, any GTA homeowner who has chosen a paper that demands more than a generic painter's wallpaper hanging skills.

For commercial clients, boutique hotels, corporate offices, retail, and hospitality, we carry WSIB Ontario clearance and $2 to $5 million general liability insurance. Certificate of Insurance documentation is part of every commercial bid.

Our Approach

Every project starts with assessment. The wall, the substrate, the paper, the pattern repeat, and the room conditions all decide what the install actually requires. We do not cut corners on prep, luxury paper telegraphs every flaw underneath, so we skim-coat, prime, and prepare the substrate to spec before any paper goes up.

The install itself is sequential and precise. Vertical-plumb references on the wall before any adhesive. Panel sequencing logged before any cut. Dry-fit before commitment. Butt seams and double-cuts where the design demands. We measure twice and we never waste a panel.

Cleanup is part of the work, not an afterthought. We protect floors, trim, and adjacent surfaces before we start. We leave the room cleaner than we found it. We walk through the finished work with you before we go.

The Work We Do

Our portfolio spans from a single accent wall in a Mississauga condo to whole-home installs in Forest Hill estates. We have hung 8-panel custom murals in master bedrooms, papered hospitality lobbies after hours, stripped three-decade vintage paper from Rosedale heritage walls without damaging a single original molding, and installed Type II vinyl across boutique hotel corridors in downtown Toronto.
